"Rory and I didn't know what to expect when it came to taking professional couple photos, so being first timers we let Diana take complete charge of the whole thing, and we couldn't be happier! We are so happy we did it because now we have a whole bunch of beautiful photos to show off to our friends and family! "We booked a photoshoot with Diana after I realised that we had virtually no pictures of me with my kids: the curse of being the family photographer - I'm always on the wrong side of the lens! I am very particular about the style of photography I like. I really dislike formal poses and forced smiles. After seeing her work, and the natural way in which her subjects interacted with the camera, I knew she was the right photographer to do justice to my idea of a beautiful family portrait. Diana took the time to understand me and my family, she completely understood that I love the city of Rotterdam, and she found a way to capture the essence of this city as well as our family in her pictures. It's important to note that my kids don't respond well to strangers. When we first met for our shoot, my 7 year old daughter wouldn't talk to her or look at her, and was actively hiding behind me. Diana was amazing with her, and after 5 minutes, everyone was relaxed and happy in front of the camera. Looking at our final images, it's clear that Diana has a wonderful eye. She was able to capture the essence of our personalities in her pictures, while absolutely making the most of the setting and the light. We're beyond delighted with our pictures, and I can't wait to frame and hang them. From first-hand experience, I can absolutely and without hesitation recommended Diana Lubbers Photography."
"Kevin, my fiancé, is a quiet, shy guy, and the thought of having engagement photos were something outside of his comfort zone. I knew for him the best way to ease into something so daunting for him was to have Diana, our great friend, take them; turns out I was right. Diana was able to create a very comfortable environment, and settle his nerves while coaching him throughout the whole shoot, I was actually more nervous than he was. Diana had already scouted out some beautiful locations so all we had to do was show up. We felt so natural and at ease in front of the camera with Diana’s direction, making the whole experience somewhat flawless. We had so much fun together that at times we forgot the camera was even there. We were blown away at how beautiful the photos turned out- the pure, raw beauty, and the expertise and professionalism of Diana made the whole day unforgettable. "Diana did a photoshoot during the summer for myself, Brad and our two boys and I have to say how much I love the photos. They are so beautiful! My partner Brad was a little nervous as he doesn't like his photo being taken but Diana was so calm and relaxed with us and made it fun for the children, we all really enjoyed it. Now, we have the most special photos to keep forever!

"Once a year we look at getting some new family photos taken and this year we decided to go with our great friend Diana. We decided on a date in November and the day turned out to be great and a real crisp autumn day. The photos of our daughters have captured the natural beauty and cheekiness of them both. While our girls love posing for the photos both me and my husband are the opposite and hate having to pose for them but the photos that she has captured you would never know. We cannot wait for the next time and would most definitely recommend her to anyone."
