JUST A CANADIAN GIRL LIVING IN A DUTCH WORLD!

I am originally from Vancouver, British Columbia and moved to Rotterdam, The Netherlands two years ago following seven years working for a major cruise line. My Dutch husband, Joris, and I chose to call The Netherlands our home, for now, and settle into 'land life.' 

I have always been passionate about photography and thought many times about becoming a photographer but continued to push it to the back of my mind. After becoming a mom, one year ago, I was at a loss as to what I wanted to do. That thought about becoming a photographer came creeping back and I dove in, head first, and received a lot of positive feedback. Besides marrying Joris and becoming a mom, it's the best decision I have ever made. I absolutely love what I do and I adore my clients!  

 

OUTSIDE OF PHOTOGRAPHY I LOVE:

Spending time with Joris and our daughter. They are my hearts and my number one fans! 

To travel. I have a serious case of wanderlust. 

To spend time with my family. Even though they live in Canada we make a yearly trip to spend time with them. They are ridiculously supportive. 

Baking. Let them eat cake! 

Soccer. I love it! My body, however, does not. 

Anything lemon and everything coconut. 

Pinterest. I am as addicted as everyone else. 

Shoes. Heels, flats, sneakers...I love them all! 

Coffee! But first, coffee. 

Anchors. Shirts, binders, coffee mugs, home decor. If it has an anchor on it, I probably own it!
