Mother/Daughter sessions are near and dear to my heart. Not only because I am a mother of a daughter but because of my mom too. She messaged me one day after I sent her, what I thought was, a simple selfie of me a my daughter. She said 'that photo brought tears to my eyes because not only is it beautiful and it made my day but it made me wish that you and I had more pictures together.' Cue the tears. I sobbed when I read that. She was right. We had some photos together when I was younger but she was usually the one behind the camera. Step out from behind the camera moms and capture those moments. Your kiddos will appreciate it.
Brittany, Cathy and Kayla are very close with my family. Kayla is my sister in law, Brittany is her twin and Cathy is her mom. They are all originally from Saskatchewan, Kayla moved back there a few years ago, but moved to British Columbia ten years ago. Kayla was in B.C. visiting all of us, her family and mine, and we planned a session with her mom and sister. We had a gorgeous day, I will remind you there was only 8 days of sunshine while we were visiting B.C. and this one was one of them. We picked beautiful Filberg Park, I mean the backdrop is perfection and so B.C., and created some memories of these three beautiful women. Watching them laugh and talking life with them is always fun!
Cathy, Kayla and Brittany, thank you for sharing the afternoon with me and choosing me to capture memories with you! Enjoy xo
