Daniëlle and I met, last year, while we were both working at De Bijenkorf in Den Haag. For my 'non Dutch readers' De Bijenkorf is the equivalent to Nordstrom or Holt Renfrew. To say I was in heaven working there is an understatement! She was working in the handbag section and I was working at the Sunglass Hut. We chatted whenever we had a moment or while admiring the new merchandise in each others 'shops'. One morning, while getting onto the train, we realized we lived right around the corner from each other. A couple of weeks talking, to each other, and we didn't even know where each other lived. Haha! We ended up having every, possible, lunch break, dinner break and coffee break together. We would meet in the mornings and catch the train, where I would watch Daniëlle apply her makeup on the moving train with serious envy, and head to work. When I was pregnant, Daniëlle would make sure I got to the train station, safely, and was eating healthy. She's the best!
Daniëlle, besides being absolutely gorgeous, is very caring, driven and determined. She was born in Suriname, called beautiful Curaçao her home, for a number of years, until her family moved to The Netherlands. Daniëlle received her Bachelors in Leisure Management and wanted to further her education. In 2015, she headed to Valencia, Spain, to study Spanish, and shortly after to Barcelona, Spain where she studied, and received, her Masters in International Marketing and Sales. This woman reaches for the stars and grabs onto them!
To celebrate Daniëlle's new job she wanted to have some, new, professional heashots. Daniëlle chose to utilize the backdrops of Schiedam. I really love the spots that we found and love that she chose where we live! Daniëlle, thank you for spending the afternoon with me. I had a great time, as always! Keep grabbing onto those dreams! I can't wait to see where life takes you next! PS: Daniëlle has an awesome blog, and Instagram, so make sure to check them out!
I walked past this wall of vines a week before our session and knew I had to utilize it with Daniëlle. Love this!
